sabaidii2 wrote:Is it possible to use the Carousel displayed on the bottom of some pages as a promo tool?
One modification to help encourage Surfers to click would be to have the Carousel rotate automatically
Examples:
1) http://www.xlovecam.com/index.php?p=inscription
2) Any online model's Chat Page
sabaidii2 wrote:On the Promo Tools ==> Text Links Generator page, there is an optional Tracking parameter.
I assume the purpose is to see which promotional tools generate the most traffic. However, the Statistics page doesn't seem to show Promo Tool tracking data.

Hi, Tracking param is appearing in the "Commissions Details" also in the stats xml feeds.

1) I can't comment on tracking data on the stats xml feed because I'm not using xml feeds.
2) Regarding tracking data on the "Commissions Details": This is not nearly as useful as showing tracking on the General Statistics page. Basically, I want to know which Promo Tools are generating the most traffic. This is very valuable to know.
Actual sales (.e., commissions) can be months (or years!) away from the time a Surfer initially clicked on a banner. It doesn't tell me much.
sabaidii2 wrote:1) The tracking parameter indicates which ad tool is generating sales ONLY if a single ad is being used. In which case, there is no need for a tracking tool to begin with. As currently designed, the tracking stat is useless.
2) Regarding the "OpenX" ads script you suggest I use:
a) It won't tell me which ad tools also result in Free Sign Ups
b) I don't see why each of your affiliates should need to add this third-party tool to fix a deficiency in your tool. It seems to me the smarter move would be for you to fix your tool.
3) It's been two months since I requested this feature. How much longer, if ever, will this take?
Look, I'm trying to help make money for us both. Give me the tools/features with which to do this.
sabaidii2 wrote:Second suggestion for Live Chat and Live Webcam Tools:
Add a field to enable/disable sound. Let the Surfer enable sound.
sabaidii2 wrote:Suggestion for IFrame, Live Chat, and Live Webcam Promo Tools.
Add a "Model Nickname" field that accepts an arbitrary length comma-delimited list of model names (such as, "CandiSoft, Juene, Deborra, etc"
The models on the list of names:
1) Would be randomly chosen
2) Must be online
3) Must have online status = Free Chat (maybe make this a parameter also)
If there isn't a sufficient number of models on the list that fit the conditions above, then other models will be selected as is done currently

Hello Sabaidii, if Sound Volume is set to 0 by the affiliate in Live Chat promo tool, the visitors will see the sound volume button in disabled mode and they can easily enable the sound by pressing on the button and adjusting the sound at the level they want.
