Are you sure the dns setup instructions are correct for the XWL, because at present it means that dns returns a different result for:

www.subdomain.domain.com > xlovecam.com
subdomain.domain.com > 91.208.175.119

I was thinking the aim would be to have the same identical dns output for both subdomain & www.subdomain

Yes it is fine. A record can only point to an ip address.

It also works if you point both subdomain and www.subdomain to www.xlovecam.com using CNAME
We will add this info in the XWL Affiliates panel.
